Abstract
One of the missions of an Islamic government is to realize and strengthen theological beliefs in a religious society. This research, using a descriptive-analytical method, aims to examine the roots and foundations of this issue, namely the position and role of Islamic government in elevating the level of religious knowledge and enhancing the moral and theological education of society. It seeks to answer this fundamental question: What is the duty of Islamic government in realizing theological beliefs in society? In other words, does the Islamic government have a role in deepening theological beliefs and correcting false beliefs? The authors have tried to examine the role of Islamic government in knowledge-based education and the realization of theological beliefs in three dimensions: spreading belief in monotheism, obedience to religious leaders, and developing belief in the afterlife. Explaining and promoting monotheism in society, fighting against false gods and anti-monotheistic manifestations, implementing divine rulings, honoring divine days and symbols, and paying attention to society-building religious rituals are effective in realizing belief in monotheism in society. The Islamic government spreads belief in divine leadership through facilitating the actual realization of religious leadership in society, explaining and promoting the position of the divine leader, fighting against deviant currents, and honoring the prophets. Belief in the afterlife leads to social effects such as the growth of culture and moral virtues in society, ensuring social security, and fostering sacrifice in society. Therefore, the Islamic government realizes the spread of belief in the afterlife by explaining and promoting belief in the afterlife and combating factors that deny or cause neglect of the afterlife.
